THE FIVE CITIES SWIM CLUB offers summer swim lessons for 3-month-olds to adults. SEDGWICK RESERVE offers hikes for the public led by trained volunteers on the second Saturday of each month. Registration is at 8:30 a.m., and the hike is at 9 a.m. Hikers should wear long pants and sturdy shoes, and bring a hat, water, sunscreen, and lunch. ARROYO HONDO PRESERVE DOCENT-LED HIKES are the first Saturday and third Sunday of each month from 10 a.m. until noon in a serene setting along the Arroyo Hondo Creek and its neighboring ridge tops, near the Gaviota coast.
