The Santa Maria Philharmonic Society will host its next live performance, Peace and Tranquility: Pastoral Landscapes, at the Grace Baptist Church in Santa Maria on Saturday, Feb. 26, starting at 7:30 p.m. A free pre-concert lecture will be held shortly before the show, from approximately 6:50 to 7:10 p.m.

All state and county health guidelines will be observed at the concert, which will feature orchestral music selections by Dvorak, Tchaikovsky, and other composers. The Santa Maria Philharmonic Society also recently announced the new date for its postponed, family-themed multimedia concert, Fly Me To The Moon: From J.S. Bach to Mr. Spock, which was rescheduled to take place at the Pacific Christian Center on Sunday, March 27, at 4 p.m.
