Patrick Ortiz of Ark Tennis will be teaching Ark Tennis Christmas Camps at the Ernest Righetti High School tennis courts during winter break. Ortiz will be assisted by local high school varsity tennis players.
Scholarships are always available, as well as second- and third-child discounts on children from the same family. Rackets will be provided and non-marking tennis shoes are required. Each player must also provide one can of new Wilson or Penn tennis balls for each week a player attends.
Week one will run Dec. 22, 23, 24, and 26; week two will be Dec. 29, 30, and 31 and Jan. 2; and week three will be Jan 5 through 8. The beginning/intermediate camp is from 9 to 10:30 a.m., and varsity camp is from 10:30 a.m. to noon. The camps cost $30 per week.
