The Santa Maria Recreation and Parks Department will run four weeks of Winter Break Day Camp for children ages 6 to 12 years old who are out of school in December and January.
Camp begins Dec. 23 and ends on Jan. 17, 2014. It costs $75 per week and the camp is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Minami Community Center, 600 W. Enos Drive. Camp will be closed on Dec. 24 and 25, and Jan. 1, 2014.
Winter camp will incorporate both indoor and outdoor activities that include sports, games, art, and crafts. Children must have completed kindergarten and be enrolled in first- though sixth-grade in order to attend.
Register at the Recreation and Parks administration office at 615 S. McClelland St. in Santa Maria. The office is open weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
